Our Mission
To improve the quality of life of person with Down Syndrome and other disabilities and their families.

To achieve our mission, we will

• Improve public perception of persons with Down syndrome and other disabilities.
• Advocate on behalf of person with Down syndrome and other disabilities.
• Identify the needs of person with Down syndrome and other disabilities and their families and explore means to satisfy such needs.
• Provide support and information to person with Down syndrome and other disabilities and their families, recognizing that parents are primary advocates fr their children.
• Provide a climate in developing a dynamic working partnership based on mutual respects among persons with Down syndrome and other disabilities and their families and professional parties.
• Provide recommendations, suggestions and information to appropriate authorities and organizations in order to improve the services available to persons with Down syndrome and other disabilities and their families.

Down Syndrome
People with Down syndrome have 47 chromosomes instead of the normal 46. The extra chromosome brings them a number of physical and mental characteristics that require special service. People with Down syndrome may be capable of leading a happy, independent and satisfying life as other adults if they are given suitable and timely training in different stages of their life cycle.
